Forever begins...

I'm Caitlin Golub, a mass communication student in my second year. It's hard to really answer the question "where are you from" because i'm not really from any one specific place. My parents have moved all around, dragging me along. I've moved 19 times, and attended 9 schools. So, we'll say i'm from New England. Over the holiday break I spent three hours watching "No Direction Home", a biography on the life of Bob Dylan. I love that things are so easy to access, for example I downloaded this movie right onto my computer, and watched it immediately following. All without leaving the comfort of my couch. At the same time thought, I see this as a negative thing, as it is making our generation increasingly lazy, and relying on everything for a sense of instant gratification.

As for myself professionally in the future, I honestly dont know where I'll be. I know I want to be as far from the typical 9-5 as possible; I want to have some travel involved, but an office to come back to, I dont want the stress of being self employed, and I want to be in charge of something. Most importantly, it needs to involve a creative outlet.

After watching the biography on Bob Dylan, I went to youtube to just watch some more videos that they left out in the three hours film, shocking I know, and I found this that I thought was really interesting.

The reason this video is so interesting is because this was the first time Dylan "went electric", thus losing part of is fan base. If you wait until the end of the video, you can hear the crowd booing him.
